Winner: 2021 People’s Choice Award

Created by Morgan Ross, the Old Toronto Series has produced over 40 short “mini docs” about the local history of the city. Special attention has been made to tackle under-told stories and specifically a focus on the new immigrant experiences of Toronto. It is the goal of Old Toronto Series to reach audiences in the city that haven’t previously realized they enjoy learning about history. The series’ objective is inclusion and has engaged followers of all walks of life, ages and orientations. Its goal is simply to make history approachable.
