Midland Park Modernism Alliance

The Midland Park Modernism Alliance was founded in 2011. The goal of the organization is to build public appreciation and support for the distinctive historic character of the over 626 mid-century modern houses in Scarborough’s Midland Park community. The group works to uncover the history of the  Midland Park neighborhood and to document, preserve, and promote it to the public.  

The Midland Park Modernism Alliance has collected historical documents from residents living in the community from 1959-1962, digitized the documents, and created a public website dedicated to showcasing the found material. The organization also regularly participates in local events to share  their knowledge and enthusiasm about the history of the community with the public.
