2023 Heritage Toronto Award Winners

Celebrating excellence in the heritage sector

The winners of the 48th annual Heritage Toronto Awards were announced on October 30, 2023 at the Carlu in downtown Toronto.

Six winners were named from 46 nominees in three categories: Book, Public History, and Built Heritage. Five of the categories were independently judged by a jury of experts, with the sixth category, the People’s Choice Award, being selected by Heritage Toronto donors and ceremony attendees.

The 2023 Volunteer Service Award was presented to Erin Mackie.
