Tours

Our tours bring people together. Join us as we travel hundreds of kilometres to experience the city—up close and on the streets—through parks, to well-known landmarks, and in the many neighbourhoods that make up Toronto.

About our Tours program

Tours are curated by Heritage Toronto, but driven by over 100 volunteers, 25 community partners, and an annual cohort of Emerging Historians.

Did you know?
The program started in 1994 with 18 tours—the first featuring downtown architecture.


Thank you for a wonderful season!

Our 2023 tours program ran from June to October 2023, with walks and community events offered multiple times a week.

This season we were proud to offer 23 unique tours, with events taking place from the Scarborough Bluffs to Hogg’s Hollow to Chinatown.
