About the Awards

Since 1974, the Heritage Toronto Awards have celebrated individuals, organizations, and the projects they create. The annual ceremony brings together these extraordinary nominees and city influencers from across its culture, development, and policy-making communities.

The Heritage Toronto Awards is the city’s premiere heritage event and Heritage Toronto’s major fundraiser of the year. Showcasing achievements in the heritage sector, the annual Heritage Toronto Awards present awards in three juried categories: Book, Built Heritage, and Public History, as well as a People’s Choice Award.

Opening Reception: 5:30-7:00pm, featuring complimentary bar service and hors d’oeuvres. Please Note: There is no formal dinner service for the evening

Awards Ceremony: 7:00-8:30pm in the Carlu’s Concert Hall (adjacent to the Reception space)

Tickets are limited – please ensure to buy your ticket early to avoid disappointment!

Seating Policy

Guests will be seated at round tables of ten. Up to six tickets purchased together in one order will be seated together. Reserved seating information will also be available at check-in on site.

If you are planning on attending with a group of people and would like to be seated at the same table, please purchase your tickets in a single order. Due to the nature of the event, we are unable to accommodate requests to seat multiple orders together.

Location Information

The Carlu is located on the 7th floor of the College Park building at 444 Yonge Street. Guests can access the Carlu by using the elevators located at the northwest entrance of the building.

TTC and Parking

The Carlu enjoys a direct underground connection with the TTC’s College Station, which is served by Subway Line 1 and the 506 Carlton streetcar. There is underground public pay-and-display parking with entrances at 29 Gerrard Street West and 777 Bay Street.
