On Sunday, November 9th members of the public and the congregation of St. Matthew's Anglican Church joined Heritage Toronto to honour the 134-year-old parish in Riverdale.

Over 500 people joined us and the City of Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation for a beautiful summer's day on Hanlan's Point. As the sun shone, a festive atmosphere prevailed with pageantry, colourful entertainment and afternoon tea.

At the opening of The Taste of Little Italy, Heritage Toronto celebrated Johnny Lombardi's contributions to Toronto with two commemorative plaques. The plaques are now at home in Piazza Johnny Lombardi, at College and Grace Streets.

On Sunday, May 25th, the Market was designated a National Historic Site
Numerous dignitaries and a very large crowd attended the presentation, which recognized its significance to our multicultural fabric. Heritage Toronto was there to celebrate as well.
