Celebrating 90 years of the Music Hall

Join us for a plaque presentation and special silent film showing

The Music Hall turns 90 this year - and we're having a special celebration in its honour!

On Tuesday, August 18th Heritage Toronto, the Riverdale Historical Society and the Music Hall invite you to join special guests as we present a plaque to honour the former Allen's Theatre, and also a special showing of the rare silent film "Dollars and Sense", starring Madge Kennedy - star of the theatre's 1919 opening night film - with a live piano accompaniment. 

Guests include:  Glyn Laverik, CEO, The Music Hall; Robert Prowse, Heritage Toronto Board; Councillor Paula Fletcher, Toronto-Danforth; Mike Forrester, Dancap Productions; Gerald Whyte, Riverdale Historical Society; and Jim Allen of the Allen Family.

Tickets are $1 and are available in advance at the Music Hall box office or at the door.
