Ways to Support our Work

Please consider making a charitable donation to Heritage Toronto. We have many different giving options to choose from. Our new online system provides a safe and secure environment for contributing to our work.

You may make a one time donation or set up a monthly donation plan. Whichever giving method you prefer, your support is deeply appreciated!

Under Heritage Toronto’s Fund Development Policy regarding Donor’s rights, your name will not be sold, traded or used in telephone solicitations.

Heritage Toronto's Monthly Giving Program

We are happy to introduce our new monthly giving program. This is a fast and convenient way to contribute throughout the year. Whether you can donate $25, $50, $100 or more each month, our new monthly giving option is a great way to support Heritage Toronto all through the year!

Simply fill out the information using our online system and your credit card will be billed once a month for the chosen amount of your donation. You will receive one tax receipt at the end of the year for the total amount of your contribution.

You may also fill out the downloadable donation form, or call us at 416.338.0682 to speak to our Development Officer Kim Adlard about setting up your monthly giving plan. You may also choose to use your chequing account for pre-authorized transactions. All monthly transactions occur at the beginning of each month.

Commemorative Giving

Heritage Toronto is introducing a commemorative giving option so that you may make a gift in honour of or in memory of someone who is special to you. This is a great way gift idea for birthdays, anniversaries or in lieu of holiday gifts. It is also a meaningful way to carry on a legacy of someone who has touched your life.

Information about Tax Receipting

(Charitable tax receipts will be provided for donations of $10 and over)

Online Donations:

Once you have completed your online contribution, your charitable tax receipt is then mailed from our office within 2-4 weeks. In the case of monthly giving, your tax receipt for the full annual amount will be sent at the end of the year to the address you provide.

Manual Donations:

Your charitable tax receipt is processed and mailed with in 2-4 weeks of receiving your donation. You can either mail in a cheque, or call us for an over the phone credit card donation.

Please note: We use the most current address on file for tax receipt mailing so if you have moved, please let us know.

Monthly donation tax receipts will be sent out at the end of the year.
