The Heritage Toronto Awards celebrate outstanding contributions - by professionals and volunteers - in the promotion and conservation of Toronto's history and heritage landmarks.
In 2009, Heritage Toronto hosted a very special event on behalf of our City's 175th birthday.

Mary ItoMayor David Miller joined us again as our Honorary Host for the pre-event Mayor's Reception. We were also delighted to have Mary Ito, host of CBC Radio's "Living in Toronto" and "Fresh Air" programs, join us as our Emcee for the Awards portion of the evening.
The Heritage Toronto Awards were followed by a one-off event that was a departure from the usual format of the William Kilbourn Memorial Lecture.
For 2009 we introduced The Great Toronto Roast, Heritage
