Deborah Lechter has been a business woman for over 20 years and has held senior posts as a public relations officer for both private and public companies. She is currently a partner in a security firm specializing in installing technology solutions for new builds as well as retro-fitting old properties. As an entrepreneur she brings to the Heritage Toronto Board hands-on expertise in business development, communications, marketing and decision making. Deborah's passion is history and architecture. She has worked as a research assistant at the McGill Redpath Museum, and as a volunteer at The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. In her spare time, she researches and prepares home "genealogies" for neighbourhood properties. Deborah holds a degree in Archaeology from McGill University.
