Darren Wasylucha is presently the Toronto-based Executive Vice President, Corporate Affairs of Aurora Oil & Gas Limited, an Australian public company listed on the Australian and Toronto stock exchanges. Prior to joining Aurora, Darren was a partner in the Toronto office of Davies Ward Philips & Vineberg LLP, one of Canada's premier business law firms. Practicing in the area of corporate finance and securities, Darren has advised Canadian and international public and private companies in an extensive range of debt and equity financings and merger and acquisition transactions. In addition to practicing in Canada with Davies, Darren spent a portion of his 11 years in private practice in London, England with the corporate finance group of the English law firm of Clifford Chance LLP. Darren holds an LLB from the University of Victoria (2000). He obtained his BA (Honours) in Anthropology (specializing in archaeology) from the University of Alberta (1996) in his hometown of Edmonton, and participated in fieldwork in Russia in connection with his studies.
