Barbara McPhail is a partner in the cultural heritage resource management firm of Unterman McPhail Associates and has over 29 years of both government and private consulting experience in the heritage conservation field. She was a founding member and former Board Director (1994 - 1998) and President (1995 - 1997) of The Canadian Association of Professional Heritage Consultants (CAPHC), and a Professional Member of the current Canadian Association of Heritage Professionals (CAHP). Barbara has a B.A. Hon. (History); Diploma of Restoration Technology and M.A. Conservation Studies and is a member of ICOMOS Canada and ICOMOS International (ICOMOS), Association for Preservation Technology (APT), Heritage Canada and the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario (ACO). Ms McPhail was appointed to the Board in 2007 and is the current Vice Chair of the Board of Directors and Chair of the Plaques & Markers Committee.
