Original maps from past three centuries illustrates how the purpose of early provincial maps changed from tools for settlement and exploitation of resources to tools for understanding the evolving cultural and physical landscape of Ontario. The School of Continuing Studies, University of Toronto will offer a course that illustrates 200 years of Toronto's shops, hotels, factories, theatres, banks and office buildings.
