09 / 20 (Heritage Toronto Walk) Imagining Toronto’s Past - CANCELLED Start: 1:30 pm End: 3:15 pm PLEASE NOTE: THIS WALK IS NOW CANCELLED We are planning to reschedule to walk in 2009. In his novel Consolation, author Michael Redhill imagined the lives of immigrant Jem Hallam in 1850s Toronto and Professor David Hollis in the city of the 1990s. Visit some of the sites from 1856, then travel forward to the present as the author explores our attitudes towards preservation of the past. more info
